For some time Red and I have been talking about a concept called "control shift." In the simplest terms it's the cultural coup that is taking place where audiences or consumers are seizing control of their media and lives through emerging digital tools.
Today I was reading USA Today and found an interesting piece on a company called Jelli. They use crowdsourcung to establish a radio playlist for traditional broadcast radio stations.
I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but it is another example of the effect of the digital/social revolution.
Viva la revolution!
